Syp continues his “Imperial Inquisition” series, this time interviewing Wrenn from WarhammerConflict.com

WAAAGH!: Tell us a bit about yourself — your handle/screen name/real name, age, real life occupation, your pevious MMO experience, and your play style.

WRENN: My name is Dominic “Wrenn” Graziano. I’m a 43 years old male and live near Scranton, Pennsylvania. For several years I was known as KelsonEA – as I was a tester for EA Sports for a number of years, and a Community Leader from 2004-2005. Right now, I am an underwriter for commercial loans.

Frontline Second Edition Released

200805131619.jpg

Warhammer Online-dedicated online magazine, Frontline, has released their second edition. Seeing as the majority of this blogs audience is English speaking I doubt I’ll report on new editions of this magazine (as it’s all in German), so if you can, and want to read it, then bookmark the site.

Check out the second edition here.

New Warhammer Geek Parody

Seriously, I don’t think explaining these things is worth it, they’re just too top notch. Enjoy another parody from the team at Warhammer Geek.

Witch Elf Woman

A parody of Pinball Wizard by The Who (although we used the Elton John Version). We round off the Destruction Trifecta with the release of this homage the Queen of Dagger wielding carnage, The Witch Elf. This parody was sung by Jethal Silverwing and written by Orlock.

“…lots of press on Tuesday”

200805112133.jpg

It’s been a quiet week in terms of WAR news, so I was happy to see a new entry from Paul Barnett’s blog pop up in Google Reader. Whilst it’s a very short entry it brings good news.

So I arrive in London, visa work on monday and then lots of press on Tuesday. Should be a lot of fun. More news when I have it.

Snafzg sure took his damn time with his latest comic (sorry, just epically failed in Age of Conan and I’m a bit titchy). Check out his latest work of art by clicking here. Hmmm, everyone seems to have their own comic these days, I’m thinking I should do one….maybe when I buy a new graphics tablet.

bit-tech.net Interviews Josh Drescher

Picture 1.png

What a great morning this has been. I woke up before everyone else, the sun is shining, I sold one of my websites for a nice sum, ran through a couple of missions on GTA IV, and then an interview with Josh Drescher pops up in my RSS reader. Okay, well truthfully I saw the story a couple of hours ago, but come on, GTA IV was waiting!

What surprised me with the interview is Drescher stated that there are 750,000 beta applicants. I’m guessing with all the recent WAR news beta sign ups ramped up and the graphic just hasn’t been updated yet. Other then that, it’s a fairly standard interview, but it’s short, so you may as well read it.

Warhammer Online has “five years of content”

200805092154.jpg

Well this made me smile. In a recent interview with gamesindustry.biz, Josh Drescher has stated that “All the under-the-hood numbers all actually scale through the next five years”. That’s probably not the best quote to explain it, so check out the full article for all the details.

The full interview from gamesindustry.biz will be published next week.

Condemned by Fire is shipping

Not sure if this is old news, but today I just got the email from Boom Studios saying my copy of Condemned by Fire has shipped. Good to hear.

Thank you for your recent purchase from BOOM! Studios. This email has been sent to let you know that your order has just shipped.

Thanks for shopping at BOOM! Studios. We hope to hear from you again real soon!

I only ordered a single copy as I was told they don’t stack…that better be true.

If only I were German…

200805090746.jpg

If only I were German, or could at least speak German, then I could enjoy this newly launched Warhammer Online community and magazine known as Frontline. I’d love to say “omg it is teh awesome”, but honestly I don’t know for sure as I can’t read the damn thing.

Check it out for yourself here.
